It was a relaxing day out on the beaches and lakes tour. The boat was very good, with two comfortable decks and hammocks, and the caipirinhas were both free and good. Communication was in English, though nobody at the shop spoke it, so we had to rely on other passengers to understand what was being explained. Lunch timing could be better too. We waited over an hour at the restaurant, time we could have spent on a beach, even though lunch had been ordered ahead.

Our group of eight adults and two children had a wonderful day with Selvagem Tours, visiting the main beaches around Alter do Chão. The boat was roomy and comfortable, and the crew were kind and attentive, bringing drinks through the day and helping whenever we needed. Carlos, the owner, made us feel welcome and shared details about each place and local culture. He speaks great English, along with other languages. We stopped at Ponta do Cururu, Mureta, Pindobal, Lago das Piranhas and Praia das Moças, then ended the day with a breathtaking sunset. I highly recommend them for a day tour in Alter.
