Pousada Flor de Alter

The room was spotless and comfortable, and with that heat, the air conditioning was much appreciated. The owner was around and made us feel at home, just like the rest of the team, who treated us like family. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of different things to choose from. It’s a little far from town to walk, but only five minutes by car.

It’s such a peaceful spot, and Pousada Flor de Alter is a great option for a stay in Alter do Chão. It’s around 3 km from the center. The inn is cozy and clean, with comfortable rooms and a wonderful breakfast. The staff were polite and helpful, and the manager was quick to help with whatever was needed. The owner, seu Izidro, was also there and very accommodating.

The main drawback is the distance from the center and beaches. Without a car, it’s a 40-minute walk, or you can take a bus that comes once an hour or a taxi. Still, we loved our stay at pousada Flor do Alter. We arrived at 3 in the morning, exhausted, and manager Alcimar literally showed us straight to our room. I appreciated that she didn’t ask us for documents or forms then. The room was spacious and clean, with a really comfortable bed. The pool is large, breakfast was tasty, and the inn is quite new. We loved it and recommend it.
