Breakfast was a highlight, and the rest of the food was great too. The hotel itself is quiet, private and comfortable. The owners and staff were so friendly and helpful that we really enjoyed our stay. We’d happily stay again.

We were in Sto Amaro for my husband’s birthday with a large group. We booked 11 rooms at Murici and spread the rest of our group across other hotels. The staff at Murici were welcoming, kind and ready to help, and I believe groups of any size can be made to feel welcome there. There were lovely places for everyone to relax, and the pools, decorations, rooms, food and drinks were all wonderful. Everything was spotless. The beds were made perfectly, the towels looked brand new, and our mini-fridge was stocked with great drinks from Maranhão. If we return to Sto Amaro, we’ll definitely stay at this hotel again.

My birthday trip to Murici Chalé with a big group went perfectly. The team paid attention to the details, and we loved the caipirinha by the pool, the day trip arrangements and the food at the restaurant. I’d recommend this place to anyone wanting to explore Lençois Maranhenses from Santo Amaro. I’m already looking forward to coming back.

The people at the pousada were so helpful that we felt at home. The bar and restaurant are excellent too. Congratulations to Eura and the whole team.

The place is small and peaceful, and we had a great time. It was very clean, the service was great and breakfast was good. The owner is always there and available.
