This is a cozy spot if you're looking to be close to nature. The rooms are open but screened, with no air conditioning, and frogs may visit. They make that clear from the start. Everything looks lovely, breakfast was excellent, and the pool and service were nice too.

I wish we'd booked a longer stay. The private bungalow felt chic and cozy, with a big comfortable bed and a hot shower. I loved having the pool and hammock, and the place is super cute. Definitely eat at the restaurant here, it's so good.

The restaurant food was excellent, and we really enjoyed feeling surrounded by nature. The bungalows are cozy and cleaned every day. I'd recommend Vila do Junco to anyone staying in Santo Amaro.

The bungalows are cozy, and there's a pool bar at this lovely guesthouse with a nature feel. Keep in mind it's set in nature, so things won't be as spotless as a surgery room, but we felt the experience was worth it. The staff don't speak English, so if you don't speak Portuguese you'll need a translator. If you're driving a rental, get an SUV because the last few hundred meters are on a sandy road.
