Pousada Paraiso

The rooms at Pousada Paraíso are spacious, with balconies where you can hang hammocks provided by the pousada. Everyone serving guests was kind and attentive. Breakfast was generous, with bread, tapioca, couscous, fruit, cakes, eggs, yogurt, juices, and more. My stay was incredible. I highly recommend it!

That balcony hammock by the room entrance was perfect for relaxing after excursions, and my room was spacious, clean, with good beds and very effective air conditioning. The pousada is in a great location. The bathroom needs improvement, though. It's very tight, with the toilet so close to the glass shower enclosure that using it is uncomfortable, and the water pressure is very weak. I was in Santo Amaro for the weekend. On Saturday there was an event with extremely loud music that could be heard across the whole town. It made sleeping difficult for anyone who needed to get up early for tours. The town needs to address this if it wants to keep a peaceful atmosphere. The other days were quiet and calm. Aside from that, it's a wonderful place. The service was a 10, with helpful staff ready to sort out problems. Special thanks to Raúl, who works the night shift.

The location is the biggest plus. It's close to the center, which makes it easy to reach the pharmacy, restaurants, and other places, especially if you're in town without a car. Breakfast was excellent, and the atmosphere was nice. One suggestion: clean the breakfast chairs and add a hanger in the room for clothes like a dress shirt. Had a great experience and recommend it.
