Pousada Verdes Alpes

We stayed at the pousada during Carnival 2026 and really enjoyed it. The view is spectacular, and breakfast was a highlight: they brought it to our chalet at whatever time suited us best. The staff were helpful, and everything felt clean and well organized.

It’s hard to rest with guests’ dogs barking loudly all day. People can bring their dogs, but I don’t want to spend the whole day listening to them. At $ 700 a night, the simple breakfast basket felt very meager, and there wasn’t even an afternoon coffee for guests. It’s much too expensive for what you get.

From the lookout, there’s a lovely view and a swing. Gustavo was very friendly and gave us a complete guide to the city. We stayed in chalet 8, which was exceptionally clean, tidy, and comfortable, and the breakfast was generously prepared. It’s about five minutes by car from the town center, though the hills make walking there impractical. I’d definitely recommend the pousada, and we’ll be back.

We were really happy with our weekend here. The chalet was well equipped and spotless, and the whole pousada was well maintained. There’s a pool and a leisure area, with plenty of nature and peace around the property. It’s in a great location for a quiet stay.
