Comfort Hotel Santos

I only went there for lunch, so I didn’t see the rooms. It was okay.

The shower was good, and the service was above average, with courteous staff. The food was ordinary, and the view from the room wasn’t much to talk about. Still, I wouldn’t recommend staying long: I was there for less than a day, and spider webs hanging from the television wire were a big negative. There were several charging points, but they were all the same type, with no USB port. The front desk had no adaptor for other charger types either, so I had to charge my device sitting in the lobby. One thoughtful detail was the waste bin, split into recyclable and non-recyclable compartments. The rooms seem to be in an old building, and you’d do well to remember that the walls have ears when having a private conversation.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, and I had a splendid stay. The location gives a good overview of Santos, with a lovely spot to watch sunrise and sunset peeking from the mountain as you look toward the sea. You can also see ships passing by. Thank you!

The roast chicken at lunch left me speechless. It was one of the best dishes I’ve had in a long time, and I really hope they keep it on the menu as long as they can. The hotel is comfortable and very nice, and the service was outstanding, friendly, professional, and courteous. Many thanks and congratulations to Fernando (the chef), Rosinelia, and Bianca for the excellent service and information. I’d wholeheartedly recommend it.
