We felt right at home at this lovely, cozy guesthouse. The owners were so friendly, welcoming, and kind. I’d absolutely recommend it. For me, it’s the best place to stay in São Bento.

Dona Arlete and Sr Guilherme run Vovó Hilda in São Bento do Sapucaí, and they’re a wonderful pair. They were attentive and clearly cared about their guests’ comfort. We felt as if we’d known them for ages, with their good humor and kindness always there. I’m grateful to have met these new friends from SP, and wish them every success.

The suites are spacious and really comfortable, and there’s a shared area to spend time in. Breakfast is excellent and served next door. The price is great for what you get, especially for travelers. Guilherme and Arlete manage the place, and they’re both lovely, attentive people who care about their guests’ comfort.

Our room was simple, but clean and very comfortable. The place is a lovely spot to rest in São Bento Do Sapucaí, and the hosts are friendly and attentive to guests’ comfort. If you’re heading out for an early activity, they provide a voucher for breakfast at a nearby bakery. I recommend it.

There were no rooms left when I came to town looking for somewhere to stay. Even so, the owners kindly checked with some friends to see if they could find vacancies elsewhere. I really appreciated how helpful and welcoming they were, even though I wasn’t staying at the guesthouse.
