The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, though only a few spoke some English, which could make things a bit difficult for guests who don’t speak Portuguese. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of cheese, sausage, fruit, cakes, and more. The hotel is conveniently close to University of Sao Paulo, and the rooms were roomy, clean, and comfortable, with a safe, fridge, and sink. Since these are advertised as suites, having an electric kettle, microwave, and some plates would be useful.

A modern, very nice hotel, and the breakfast was really good too.

The breakfast was my favorite part, with a big spread of Brazilian breakfast foods. I’m back for my second stay and love it. The room is huge and spotless, and the bed is roomy and really comfortable.

I came to São Carlos for work and needed to get to USP. Since it’s a non-touristy city, the hotel’s location worked well for me: I could walk to the university and other places, and Uber rides were very cheap. My room was large, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was good and reasonably priced. My only complaint was that the hair dryer wasn’t very effective.

The towels need replacing, as the picture shows, and I wouldn’t feel comfortable walking around the neighborhood at night because it seems dangerous. The TV only has local channels, with no Netflix, Amazon TV, or YouTube, though the internet works well. The place itself is fine, the staff provide great service, and breakfast is okay.
