The room is small and there's nowhere to put the suitcases. The shower is electric, so that might be an area to improve, though the place has the infrastructure for it. Still, none of that would stop us from coming back to this wonderful inn with such lovely people. The service is in a class of its own, and I'd wholeheartedly recommend it. Breakfast is simple but really tasty, and the owner makes it herself. The grape juice is made in-house.

We went as a family with our one-month-old son, and the hosts were so kind and attentive to the little details. The room was clean and tidy, the shower was good, and breakfast was tasty and clearly made with care. There's free parking too. It's on a quiet street, only 500 meters from Lago São Bernardo. You can walk there, which is useful since parking around the lake gets scarce in high season. Wonderful stay, good value for money, and we'd recommend it to anyone visiting São Francisco de Paula.

The quiet neighborhood made for a great stay. My parents and I went at the end of September and had booked one room for the three of us. There were no other guests, I think because it was low season, and the owners offered us another room so we'd be more comfortable without charging extra. They were very attentive. The bedding and bathroom were all wonderful, and breakfast was very good, with different cakes and savory pastries, plus local salami and cheese. When we first turned onto the street, we wondered, "Is this really the place?" But it was. Every moment in são Chico was worth it!
