The rooms I saw were very clean and tidy, and one even had a view. They’re an okay size, though not especially big. You can book a single, double, or triple room, and all of them had air conditioning and cable TV. A good hotel room for the price.

The astro hotel gave our student team from Venezuela, Aerodesign SAE USB, space in the parking lot to repair and build what we needed for our radio-controlled planes. There was room for several other teams to work on their planes too, around the clock. We were in sao jose dos campos for SAE AeroDesign BRASIL 2014 at Embraer. Many people at the hotel understood Spanish, and Marcelo speaks it. Nobody understood English. One woman understood and spoke French. The service was excellent.

The rooms were clean, breakfast was really good, and the price was decent. It’s fairly close to the city center, about a 15-real taxi ride from rodoviária.

The service was good, and they clearly care about cleanliness. I did miss having shampoo sachets in the bathroom, though, so bring your own.
