Great.

The linens, towels, and floors were clean, but the rooms and facilities left us with a bad impression. My family and I had a poor stay. I'd read the negative reviews and hoped things had improved. We even followed someone's advice to book a room with air conditioning, but that didn't help. We weren't expecting luxury, especially at an affordable price, but basic simplicity shouldn't mean a lack of care. I paid for two rooms, but we couldn't stay in room number 10 because it smelled strongly of sewage. The bathroom wall had open bricks leading to another room's bathroom, so you could hear everything, including things you'd rather not hear. I asked to move, but was told there were no other rooms, so all four of us had to stay in one room. At least that one didn't stink. The air conditioner wouldn't work for heating; maybe it only does cooling. Both bathrooms had mold on the ceilings, no shower curtain, and no hook for clothes or floor cloth. Water got everywhere, and even a squeegee would have helped. The traditional shower heads were clogged, so cleaning the holes would improve the shower. The old wooden doors were hard to close in both bathrooms. There were no sheets to cover ourselves with under the small blankets in the room. Breakfast was basic, and the coffee was cold. I wouldn't recommend this place for a family trip. I know renovating an entire hotel at once is hard, but they could fix one room at a time. Even simple things would help, like a clothes hook, a mirror in the room, a shower curtain, painting the ceiling, sheets, a folding PVC door, a floor cloth, white towels, and cleaning the shower heads.

The rooms are clean, but the facilities could be better. There are areas with water damage and mold, and the bathrooms don't have shower enclosures. The Wi-Fi is weak and drops in and out, and I saw a cockroach in the hallway. For the nightly rate, breakfast was disappointing. They could improve a lot.

The room was nice, clean, and well organized. My main complaints were that the minibar had no drinks or water, the door had an issue and kept banging in the wind, and the minibar was SO noisy that I had to unplug it. A little shampoo would have been nice too, haha. I also missed having Netflix or something to watch on TV. Netflix wouldn't let me log in because it needed a confirmation code sent to the owner's email. Other than that, all was fine. I think breakfast could run from 7:30 to 10 so people have time to wake up without rushing.
