Hotel Pousada Sinos

A well-kept little inn in a good location, and breakfast is included.

I only planned to stay a few days, but it ended up being longer. The staff were so attentive that I felt at home. It’s quiet if you like sleeping without noise, and the coffee was warm and served right on time. The sheets were white and smelled fresh. I recommend the inn.

The noise upstairs made it impossible to sleep in during the morning. The owners’ family lives on the floor above, and there was a lot of noise. The towels smelled awful after I washed my face or showered, and when I asked for fresh ones there was always an excuse. The place itself smelled bad too, and the wardrobe was filthy, with lots of MDF crumbs inside. Basic maintenance was missing, even the toilet flush button had a screw that hurt my finger. Breakfast was just bread, coffee, and a strange cake. This was the worst place I’ve ever stayed. I didn’t go to Procon because I couldn’t be bothered.

For 190 reais, we got a clean room with clean white sheets and towels, plus parking, Wi-Fi, and breakfast included. The breakfast was good for the price. It’s a basic place, just a bed and a decent bathroom with a hot shower, with no frills. The main downside is that every entrance involves stairs, which could be difficult for anyone with limited mobility. Recommended if you need somewhere to spend the night without spending much.
