Awesome.

I liked how rustic and welcoming the place felt, and it seemed like a good example of environmental preservation. Sr. João Carlos, the inn's owner, was cordial and pleasant. I'll be back, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere simple and cozy.

The owner was super nice, and the place was pleasant and very quiet. Breakfast was good, though quite simple.

At around R$ 200 a night, I expected more. The inn has a pool, which is a plus, but if you're not going to use it, the rate feels high. The room is basic, the entrance is up a fairly steep slope, and the car isn't sheltered from sun or rain. The breakfast is limited. That might be fine at a cheaper inn, but not at this price. I've stayed somewhere for R$ 120 that served a generous breakfast. At R$ 100 or R$ 120 this place would feel fair, but around R$ 200 it's expensive. There's no electric shower, and the toilet wasn't firmly attached. We mentioned that to the owner, who said he'd fix it.
