The people working there really made our stay. Everyone was friendly and accommodating, and Gustavo consistently went above and beyond. The setting was beautiful, peaceful, and quiet. The food was delicious, with a good range to choose from.

It’s a shame such a beautiful resort left us with this experience. All three rooms our group had were entered and cleaned twice despite our “do not disturb” signs. We were only staying a few days and didn’t want anyone coming in. After the first time, we noticed the rooms had been “cleaned” but brushed it off. Later that night, we went out for a few hours, and the rooms had been cleaned again. At checkout the next day, we discovered that more than R$1,000 was missing from one room, $250 in American money from another, and R$350 from the third. Having money disappear from three separate rooms is no mistake, in my view. We have photos at the resort showing we were there. This is deeply disappointing and unsettling for tourists, especially after travelling from another country. I’d urge anyone considering a hotel in Brazil to think carefully before booking here. I would never stay again, and the hotel should be ashamed of what happened.

The only downside for me was the noise from the air conditioning unit outside the room. That seems to be an issue all over Brazil, where they don’t sell the noiseless kind you get in Europe. Otherwise, we loved it and will be back as soon as possible. It’s beachfront, peaceful, and nobody was coming up to sell things while we relaxed. Dr WInd center is right next door. The staff were friendly, the decor was beautiful, the garden and pool area were lovely, and the ambient music was just right, with no Forró or Brazilian funk. The restaurant was excellent too. Great for a kite, wing, or wind holiday, or simply for a rest.

The hotel was nice, with a cool pool and a great breakfast. I’d give it 4.5 stars. My bed was okay, but room 1 was a bit dark and the lighting wasn’t well thought out. The water also wasn’t really hot. I wouldn’t recommend that room, though the hotel itself is nice.
