Abaetetuba Pousada

Abaetetuba Pousada has a calm, welcoming feel that's hard to leave. We spent time on the sand, explored nearby trails, and enjoyed caipirinhas at twilight, with a real sense of peace throughout. Luisa and Vittorio made us feel like cherished guests, offering helpful tips and even fresh coconut just when we needed it. Our room was bright, airy, and spotless, with ocean air coming through the wide windows, waves at night, a hammock, and lovely beach views. Breakfast was a highlight too: tropical fruit, homemade cakes, strong Italian cappuccino, and Luisa’s fresh yoghurt. The place is on a beautiful stretch of Brazilian coast, and you can see Luisa and Vittorio's care in all the details. We left refreshed and already planning to return. Full five stars. We were staying at another property in São Miguel dos Milagres and drove out to visit nearby beaches, including Toque Beach. The roads were very muddy, so we stopped at Vitorio’s pousada to ask whether there was a restaurant with beach access where we could spend the day. Vitório was rude, frowning at us and sending us away with a curse. At pousada Wassu just down the road, the attendant politely explained the beach access and restaurant options. We’ll stay at Wassu when we come back. Abaetetuba won't get my money.

The property is huge, a coconut farm right by the sea, so there’s plenty of privacy. We loved talking with Vittorio and Luisa, who welcomed us so warmly. Everything was lovely, from the thoughtful way the place blends with nature to the welcoming reception and the beautiful breakfast. We absolutely loved our stay and recommend it without hesitation.

The three chalets sit among 16,000 square meters of coconut grove, right in front of one of the area's most beautiful beaches. Vittorio and Luiza created this place in 2013, and their focus on quality and simplicity shows in everything, from the delicious breakfast and thoughtful decor to the kind, attentive service. The chalets are roomy and very comfortable. It was hard to leave after such lovely days.
