We booked two weeks ahead, but nobody told us about an event, either when we made the reservation or when we arrived. The hotel website had no event policy at the time of this review, and there wasn't one in the bedroom either. A party for many guests went on late into the night. Even though it was far from the bedrooms, the music was clearly audible and loud. Complaining didn't change anything. The next day we got an apology letter, but it didn't give us our lost night's rest back. The hotel looks inviting and sits in a beautiful place, but unexpected events can disrupt your stay. If you're looking to hold an event, this may be the place. If you want to rest, I'd choose somewhere else.

The restaurant service was excellent and breakfast was really good. The pool and its surrounding area were lovely too, though the kids' pool was close to our room, so screaming and yelling interrupted a few afternoons. The hotel is quite nice, probably one of the best in the area. There was a lot of upgrading and construction while we were there, which was annoying, especially since it was high season and we'd paid a lot to stay.

I've tried sending this email several times without success, so I'm sharing it here. Greetings from UAE! We spent six days at the hotel as tourists. It was a very good experience, even though it was our first time visiting this country and we faced a language barrier. The staff were kind and lovely, especially Alena at reception, and Uncle Manok.

It's a large, busy, resort-style hotel. If you prefer somewhere small and boutique, this isn't the place for you. The bungalows are a good size for a couple, though.
