I stayed at 360 Suites Republica for 11 days recently and had a positive experience. I chose the Republica area because it suited my interests and made it easy to get around Sao Paulo, with Republica subway station nearby. The area feels sketchy at night, but the condominium, Setin Downtown, is very secure, with barriers, security, and facial recognition. The apartment matched the Airbnb photos and had all the listed amenities, including a refrigerator and microwave. The internet and air conditioning were both strong, which mattered during the Brazilian summer. Guests can also use the lounges, small pool, laundry room, and gym. I’d strongly consider staying here again on my next trip to Sao Paulo.
If they’re managing your apartment, get out of that arrangement. And if you’ve already handed it over, run.
A heads-up about the laundry: the washing machines and dryers use an RFID card, and you can’t pay with a bank card. You have to enter the RFID card number on a website and add a payment method. Mine had been blocked by a previous user, which I only found out after buying detergent and stain remover. I stayed in the building through Airbnb and everything else was fine. Just sharing this so nobody else makes the same mistake.
My stay was awful, and I was really upset by how the team treated me. On arrival, the access codes didn’t work, so getting into the apartment was a struggle. I had to go downstairs to get an internet signal just to contact the attendant. The apartment smelled bad, the sink drained poorly, there was no bedroom rug, and the Wi-Fi had no signal. I asked for help and got none. I also tried to extend my stay but couldn’t. They told me to use the website, even though I’d made the booking and paid via Pix on WhatsApp. When I couldn’t extend, I asked the building reception to hold my bags while I went to the mall. They said they couldn’t. I then asked the security guard to watch them while I went back upstairs for the rest, and he said he wouldn’t take responsibility. The 360 team was terrible, and so was the building team. Zero stars, I don’t recommend it. This wasn’t my first stay with 360, and I’ve had plenty of problems before, but this time was too much.
The apartment was VERY DIRTY, and its condition was dreadful. The towels were dingy and smelled bad, the bathroom sink was clogged and leaking underneath the cabinet, some lights had loose connections, and the chairs were wobbly. The entry code was wrong, too, and the blanket looked ancient. Worst place I’ve ever stayed. If I could give zero stars, I would. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!
