Having parking makes the building handy if you have a car, and its city location is very good. The rooms are rented separately, though, and the owners are never around. You have to rely on phone calls and the attendants on site, who seem to just open and close doors and offer guests no information or help. There's also a dining area on the top floor, but it's always closed and can't be used.

I'm a service provider, a neighbor, and get called to work in this building a lot, but I keep having trouble with the building caretaker. She wants a bribe to let me work on site. In some cases she's asked me for as much as 800.00 for a small job worth 400.00. I can't overcharge my customers just to pay off a dishonest caretaker.

I strongly recommend staying on avanhandava. You get the big advantage of being in central São Paulo, and the street is practically private, so it feels safe.

The accommodations are good for the price, and the location is great. Communication with management is bureaucratic, but it does eventually work. What really ruins the stay is the 24-hour Oxxo on the ground floor. It attracts all sorts of people who stand on the sidewalk talking loudly as if they were in a bar, at any hour of the day or night, disturbing guests' peace.

I've never seen a building with such ridiculous rules. The front desk is disorganized, and the employees are mocking. I hope I never have to come back to this dump.
