Charlie was a one-time experience, and that's enough for me. We booked an apartment for the weekend, but couldn't get inside. The digital lock had physical buttons that were broken, so we couldn't enter the code. We'd already spent quite a while registering at the door, but that part was manageable. We tried the lock for over 15 minutes. It was past midnight, so we gave up and booked a hotel at the last minute just to get some sleep. I've stayed in plenty of Airbnbs and never had trouble getting in this way. This was awful, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. If you want to know you'll at least be able to enter your room, stay somewhere else.

I've had internet trouble ever since I got this apartment, four months ago, and they still haven't fixed it. Getting into the building was another mess: Charlie didn't reply or send my documents to reception, so I had to sort it out with the building administration. Luckily, the other person staying with me was already inside and managed to help me get in. The service is horrendous, among the worst I've seen. If you're thinking of renting an apartment with Charlie, don't, whether for a week, a weekend, or any other length of time. The stress and money aren't worth it.

For our stay from 29/06 to 01/07/2024, the lock on apartment 910 was loose and falling off. I tried contacting them on WhatsApp, but one number sent me to another, which sent me back to the first. Neither answered. If there had been an emergency, there would've been nobody to help. I'll file a FORMAL complaint with BOOKING. Getting to the room was exhausting too, especially for a short weekend visit. They only collect facial biometrics for stays over 5 days, but the elevator serving the guest area, which is separate from residents' area, only works with biometrics. So we had to call and wait for the receptionist to send the elevator. Then there was another elevator in the basement, a corridor, and a sliding door that also required biometrics. For short stays, we had to explain every time that we were guests to an annoyed attendant standing there. The facial access wasn't available for our booking, so that whole process made a weekend tourism or leisure stay miserable. This place deserves a negative star.

Four days have passed and the problem still isn't fixed. They keep asking us to create a second account and passing us from one phone number to another, with nobody actually sorting it out. The trip's over now and the issue is still there. What a disgrace, it's shameful dealing with this bunch of incompetents. Fantastic! 🔥😡
