I found it comfortable and well equipped, so it worked really well for a longer stay. It’s also in a great spot, about a 7-minute walk from Paulista Avenue. Cleaning is weekly, and it seems you can request it more often. I’d definitely recommend it.

Avoid this place. Check-in through Atlantica is painfully slow. Reception is handling regular residents along with bookings through Atlanta, booking, AIRBNB, and other channels. Atlantica only communicates by WhatsApp messages, which makes the whole thing a nightmare.

The apartment was covered in other guests’ hair, and they refused to clean it. There was no Wi-Fi, the gym had been out of service for months, and the toilet stopped working. It took two days to fix, then broke again a day later. The handyman left a mess, and they wouldn’t clean up after him. They said the manager would contact me, but that never happened. Guests I spoke to had the same complaints, and the facilities in the ad weren’t what we found. This was one of the worst places I’ve ever stayed. We visit São Paulo every year with Brazilian and European friends, and we’ll tell everyone to avoid it. As we’d say in Portuguese, this place is a total disgrace!

Check-in was exhausting and took longer than any I’ve dealt with. The front gate held us for half an hour while they checked with reception. Then the desk asked for everyone’s ID, fingerprints, and face photos. I didn’t feel comfortable handing over all that personal information, especially after hearing about data leaks and hacking incidents, but I felt I had no choice. If I’d known, I wouldn’t have booked. To get the Wi-Fi password, we had to connect to the internet and send our name and passport number to another person in charge. As a foreigner, how was I supposed to get online without Wi-Fi? We begged the front desk to write the password on paper, but she said no, claiming policy prohibited it. I don’t understand what’s going on at this hotel. The room looked clean, but the phone beside the bed was dusty and there was mold on the toilet tiles.
