The location is good, and the staff member we met was very welcoming. But our room hadn't been cleaned at all: the floor and sheets were dirty, used towels were left in the bathroom, and there was no toilet paper or hand soap.

A nice, typical little hostel if you just need somewhere to sleep. It's clean and has everything you need, though the checkout felt a bit odd: you simply leave the keys in the mailbox. There's nowhere indoors to spend time if it rains.

We keep coming back because it's clean and so close to good restaurants, with the metro just steps away. Eduardo is a great host and is always happy to share information and recommendations on food and shopping. We highly recommend staying here.

The prices are very affordable, and the kitchen has a great open area. The dorms are good for sharing, and the showers and bathrooms are clean. The hostel itself is a gym too. I'd definitely recommend it to people visiting Sào Paulo.

Please don't stay at Blau Hostel. I've never been somewhere worse. I drove from San Francisco CALIFORNIA USA to Goiania Goias Brasil, and even Peru wasn't as bad as this place. The energy there was terrible.
