Café Hostel

We had a private room and enjoyed our stay. The included breakfast is free with some bookings, though I think you can add it for a small charge. Staff were around whenever we needed them and very friendly. The neighborhood is quiet, but sound carries through the walls and windows, and the hostel can be noisy overnight. As a light sleeper, you might want to look elsewhere.

The room was a little chilly, but I'd rather have the window open than let it get stuffy. The bathroom was tidy, and the timed showers worked well, which I appreciated as an ecological touch. I did wonder whether the glass doors are really sturdy. Staff were helpful and friendly, including giving us much-needed directions for getting around. The manager also offered the breakfast included in our old booking, even though we were happy to pay. I heard there may be big improvements coming to the cafe. Michael from HI Lake Louise.

It's in a nice, safe area, with plenty of pleasant, educated people around. The staff were the best part for me: so friendly and helpful, they made me feel comfortable and secure. I'd definitely return.

The area was nice, and the metro wasn't too far away. Staff were friendly, and the place was very clean. I stayed in the nine-bed room, which was good, with good beds. I didn't try breakfast, but it looked like the usual hostel spread.
