Central Park Jardins

The staff were responsive and helped arrange a refund, but the rooms were outdated and poorly maintained. I wouldn't recommend this hotel. The best parts were breakfast, the gym, and the views. They couldn't make up for a room with two oversized, harsh lights and no softer lamps, or the visible cracks in the bathroom tiles. Worse, construction noise started without warning. We only learned about it after a night and a booking, and on weekdays the room was uninhabitable from 10 am to 6 pm. We had to leave for another hotel to get some peace. The place fell short on basic comfort and transparency.

The pool was the highlight for me, and it’s in a great spot. The room felt a little dated and the bed was slightly too firm, but I’d stay again. An 8/10 experience.

The apartment had a decent amount of space, and both the bed and shower were excellent. The streaming room was good too, and the pool looked fairly decent, but it wasn’t open. If the price works for your budget, I’d still say give it a try, as long as early check-in isn’t important to you. I’d asked about checking in early beforehand and was told it would depend. When I arrived, they said to wait a bit, but I ended up checking in at the regular time. That was a real disappointment. You might get a nice view if you’re lucky with which side you’re on, but I wasn’t.

The gym has a really good range of equipment, and the main city boulevard is easy to reach on foot. The living room does get a bit hot because the AC is only in the bedroom.
