We felt unwelcome at Estanplaza. The reception was cold, and my wife and I felt unwanted there. There was nothing aggressive, but we got stared at a lot, and this did not happen to us at the Mercury, Radisson, or even the Ibis in the same area. The first eight floors also have muddy-colored hot water. When we asked to move rooms, they said they already knew about the problem. I'm not demanding, and I've stayed at many hotels, including Mercury, Radisson, Marriott, Hyatt, Ibis, Pegasus, and others. This is one I'll avoid in the future.

The room was spacious and comfy, and we slept really well in the nice beds. Breakfast was fresh and good, especially the delicious coffee. The pool is small but pleasant, and the staff were attentive and friendly. We loved staying here and will come back next time we're in Sao Paulo.

For business around Berrini or Chácara Santo Antonio, the location is okay. It's a good choice if you want something above Ibis but can't spend for Hilton or Hyatt. The building isn't brand new, though maintenance seems up to date, and the walls, carpets, floors, and room doors look nice. My room was an in-between size, with furniture in very good shape, a comfortable bed, hot shower, and a bathroom your wife would approve of. It was quiet, with no noticeable noise. Breakfast had a good selection of fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, cheese, bread, juice, and ham. Free internet is included, but don't expect to use things like FB, you tube, or netflix on it. Paid options are available for that.

Very affordable and a good option. My room was big and had a balcony. The pool is too small for swimming, but the staff are kind. Bars and a supermarket are close by, and breakfast was good.
