Hotel Gran Corona

I stayed here a few times when I was younger. It’s downtown in São Paulo, but the street is quiet and relaxed, and the sound insulation is good. The hotel and restaurant are both very nice, and the food is really good. The price feels fair for what you get. There’s no pool, gym, or sauna, so it’s a good pick for a couple of nights. If you’re planning a longer stay in this huge city, I’d suggest looking at other hotels.

The rooms were clean and spacious, the service was good, and the location was convenient. I got good value for my money, especially with free parking, which is hard to find in Sao Paolo. It’s a nice, old-fashioned hotel that’s budget friendly. The furniture looks like it belongs in the 1980s, the bathroom is big but dated, and the beds were just so-so.

The carpets were dirty, the walls had mold and mildew in many places, and the rooms smelled old and unpleasant. The bathroom was in awful shape too, with a loose toilet and a dirty bathtub. Trash from previous guests was still in the bins. At checkout, staff who seemed unaware of the charges said snacks weren’t included and charged me far too much. This hotel was disgusting in every way and shouldn’t be operating as one.

The room was very comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff were professional. Hotel Gran corona is in a good location in Sao Paulo, whether you’re here for business or just for fun.
