H3 Hotel Paulista

At around US $50, this was one of the cheapest hotels of this quality I've stayed in. People in the comments seem to have unrealistic expectations for that price. There's no jam, pool, or many extras, and breakfast is basic, but tasty, with good coffee. The rooms are large and comfortable. Our air conditioner wasn't working properly, but they moved us quickly and efficiently to another room. The street is OK, and the parking is like a block away. We walked over to Paula Avenue, and it's a great area overall. As in any major city, I wouldn't necessarily venture out too much on my own. I was concerned at first because the price was so low, but the staff were friendly and the experience was excellent. In the United States, at this price you couldn't even get into a rundown Motel 6. It was actually $20 less than the ibis in Mogi where I stayed last week, and that room wasn't nearly as nice. If I were paying US $200 a night, this would be a very different review.

For a great price, I got a much bigger room than at other hotels I've stayed in in Sao Paulo. It was very clean, and the location near Paulista Ave was great. I felt safe walking around, and there were nice little shops and restaurants close by. Maybe I should keep this place a secret so it's not sold out when I come back. 🤔😁

Great value for the money, with a clean, well equipped hotel, a good breakfast, and friendly, attentive staff.

The location is very good, but the hotel needs some improvements. The mattress was damaged and too soft, and the pillows were very thin and still wrapped in plastic. The air conditioning didn't work properly either. We had to complain several times before they changed the mattress and more or less fixed the AC. Breakfast was very simple and not very good for a hotel.
