Hostel Brooklin - Hospedagem c/ café da manhã R$ 69,00

I expected less, but this hostel exceeded my expectations. It’s very clean and organized, with an included breakfast and an affordable price. It’s comfortable for working too. Portuga, who runs the place, is really kind, friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it and will be back soon.

The place is simple, but fair for the price, and Portuga is a kind, friendly host. I was a little disappointed with breakfast, though. He said it would be available from 7 a.m., so I left later than planned to get some, but nothing was ready at that time. With Portuga’s permission, I had to take things from the fridge and prepare them myself. There was hardly anything there, just bread, almost-finished cream cheese, milk and coffee.

My first hostel stay turned out to be a really positive experience. I was traveling alone in this kind of setup, so it meant a lot that Portuga was such a welcoming and caring host. The shared spaces are great, and they even provide breakfast.

The rooms were tidy and clean, as were the bathrooms and the rest of the place. Host Portuga is charismatic and makes you feel comfortable in the space. The neighborhood also seems peaceful and safe. I’d recommend this hostel 100 percent. If I had to describe it in three words: comfort, organization and safety.
