I wouldn't recommend staying here. The room was nothing like the photos, with broken outlets and walls, mold in the fridge, and a strong musty smell. The hotel itself is extremely old and poorly maintained. It faces an unpleasant area of Brás where there's a strong bad smell and people using drugs are constantly around. That left me feeling completely unsafe. What was advertised and what I found were totally different.

If you're visiting Brás to shop, this hotel works well. For a sightseeing trip, I'd look somewhere else. They don't serve breakfast.

For a short trip like mine, it did the job. The room was basic, though the pillows could be better.

This hotel is awful. My husband has been stuck in the elevator since 10:40 pm after the power went out. They said it would be fixed in 20 minutes, but now it's 12:29 am. He managed to open a small gap in the door so he could breathe, and the hotel isn't even answering the phone.
