For the price I paid, R$145 (US$75) for a double room, I'm really happy with it. I'm judging against the mid-priced hotels I usually stay in. The hotel is old but very well maintained, the people are nice, and the room was clean with no musty smell. WiFi was included and had a strong signal on every floor. The location is good, a couple hundred meters from a metro station, in a commercial neighborhood that's not very lively.

They took great care of my mother while she was ill. The rooms are basic but clean, and breakfast was great.

It's too expensive for the services they provide. The location is good, right next to the subway, but the bed and pillows aren't good.

Too expensive for such a basic, informal place. For just R$20 more, you can get a room at an Ibis.
