The location works really well for what I need, and I plan to come back in a few months. The room is tiny, but fine if you won't spend much time there. The shower was new and nice, and there was a TV, possibly with cable, though I didn't watch it. Back in 2016-2018, the little room cost R$35.00. What does it cost now?!

If money is tight, this is a basic, affordable option. The rooms were clean, and I appreciated the free Wi-Fi since some small hotels in Brazil don't provide it. Breakfast is included, as it is at most Brazilian hotels, whether one-star or five-star. It's in downtown São Paulo, which felt a little dangerous at night. The front desk staff don't speak English, though they aren't required to; visitors to Brazil should know some Portuguese. There was a lot of noise in the morning, with people talking loudly and walking around. For about $25, it's decent for the price.

A run-down shack, and I'm glad it's shut down. There's a grimy boarding house in the same building next door, and you can smell it from across the road. Stay away.

The breakfast area was the only clean part. I can't see how this place is listed as a two-star hotel. I won't come back or recommend it.
