Hotel Mooca São Paulo

The nighttime service was awful. The employee looked annoyed and barely answered a simple good evening. We were charged one amount when we arrived, then asked for more at the end. The restaurant wasn't open any day, so there was nowhere to buy even a basic dinner. The hotel also didn't feel safe: the parking area is left open for most of the day, making access easy, especially to the rooms at the back. The facilities are terrible for what they charge. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. If I could, I'd give it zero stars.

The staff were really polite, and the place felt peaceful. The price was good too. I had to leave before breakfast because of an early commitment, but I saw them setting it up and it looked delicious. Thanks for the stay.

I was disappointed by both the room and breakfast, and I wouldn't come back. Room 27 was hard to sleep in because of a motor running outside the window all night, probably from the bakery behind it. Breakfast was delivered to the room on a tray, apparently to avoid people taking extra fruit, cake, juice, or coffee. There was only a plastic knife and two plastic spoons, with no napkins. I had to go to reception for forks to eat the fruit, napkins, and more coffee. For a couple, breakfast in the room should come in a reasonable amount and include the right cutlery. They also need to deal with the bakery motor noise by Room 27.

The location is good, and there's a wonderful bakery on the ground floor. The hotel has a lot of potential, but the windows need soundproofing because there's so much noise. The plumbing in the rooms at the back needs attention, especially in Q30, where there was a bad sewer smell. The mattresses and decor could be improved as well. The cleaning room is right by the guest rooms, and staff make noise at night that disturbs people's rest. Staff training needs investment too.
