I had a good time at Ibis Morumbi. The bar was great, with lovely hospitality and service. Douglas was excellent with us and made my wife the best Cappuccino!

The room wasn't quite up to the Ibis standard I'm used to from other stays, which was the only downside. It was clean and comfortable, with a good shower and strong pressure. Breakfast was complete, with plenty to choose from, and the location suited the event I was attending.

Parking was the one thing that could have gone better. The driver wasn't there to collect my car when I checked in, or when I needed to put something in the trunk, so I had a long wait both times. Otherwise, it was a good stay, with a clean room and a complete, flavorful breakfast.

I expected more from how the hotel is run. At ibis hotels in the UK, they usually provide a kettle and some facilities I didn't find here. My room was also made up late several times. When that happened, they told me to leave and left me waiting in the corridor, yet the room still didn't feel fresh afterward.

The food and breakfast were good, and the location was very good. Staff were good too, but the hotel needs renovation. The carpets look too old, dirty, and stained, and the air conditioning system needs to be better.
