Intercity São Paulo Berrini

After a long flight, I checked in at night on March 25 and found feces in the toilet in room 205, used rubbish in the bin, and soap that had been unpacked. I'd booked a queen bed but was given two single beds. I won't come back.

The room was spacious, with a good bed and an excellent shower, and the hotel is in a good location. The front desk staff were friendly, and check-in and checkout were quick. The lobby internet worked very well, but the signal was poor in my bedroom. I enjoyed the stay and would return on another visit to SP.

Nothing matched what the photos showed, including breakfast, and the advertising felt false. The hotel was very expensive for what it offered. Service was terrible, with unhappy, unfriendly staff. The room was awful: no ventilation, fan, or AC, and a loud machine ran outside it 24 hours a day, making sleep impossible. Other guests talked loudly, played music, and watched videos in the morning on their way to the elevator, waking people who were still asleep. The shower had hardly any pressure in the morning. The bed was bad, the pillows were extremely thin, and the blanket was worn and very thin. When we asked for another one, we got a very old, worn blanket.

The first room had ceiling lights that didn't work, and shower water ran into the bathroom. They moved me promptly to another room. It was a little dated, but clean enough and acceptable overall. Breakfast at the restaurant was standard, while dinner wasn't very good.
