The first night in room 313 was fine, renovated and clean. For the second night I couldn’t stay in that room, and the room they offered on the second floor was much worse, with two twin beds instead of the large queen bed I’d had. I asked for another room and they moved me to a third one on the same floor with a better view, but it still had two small beds. I left my things and went out to see the city. When I got back around 2 a.m., there were tiny ants on the bed. The front desk attendant wouldn’t give me a new room or a refund, only said he’d change the sheets, and blamed the heat. That was also the same guy I’d recorded sleeping on the first night. Then the faucet broke while I was showering in the “new room.” The management and facilities are terrible. Don’t be taken in by the location or the “free breakfast,” and don’t stay at Bella augusta hotel.
