On Paulista

The place was quiet and well organized, and my apartment on the third floor was spotless, with the essentials I needed. Check-in was really quick, and I didn’t hear any traffic. I only missed having a dish towel to dry the utensils. The building’s luggage storage couldn’t fit my one 23 kg suitcase. As a ship crew member, I needed to leave it for a few extra hours so I could have lunch and catch my flight. Aside from that, everything was fine. ON, managed by Housi, is right beside Paraíso metro station, with shops, restaurants, bakeries, and easy delivery nearby.

The apartment was tidy, had a wonderful view, and we didn’t run into any problems. The staff were polite, the pool was great, and the building was very peaceful, with no noise from neighbors, fireworks, or traffic. There’s also a gym, a coffee area, and a market, all open 24 hours. Paraíso Station is literally across the street. For couples arriving by car, the building’s parking is open 24 hours. You first need to go up to reception to register your face, then return to bring up your bags. Parking is R$ 45,00 per day, with deals for 3 and 5 days that you can ask about there. One security guard suggested downloading the Hubees app to look for a discount and check in online. The only downside was the pool’s cleanliness. It didn’t seem to be cleaned daily, and there were insects in the water, which looked cloudy and green.

My room on the 20th floor wasn’t bothered by noise, though some colleagues in lower rooms near the avenue complained about it a lot. There were plenty of elevators, so waits weren’t long. The gym has modern equipment, but very little for weight training. The room came with a microwave, fridge, TV, and Wi-Fi, and the bathroom was fairly spacious for the room. Paraíso metro is right in the building, so you can go down into the station without crossing the street. Bakeries, a market, food trucks, and a gym are nearby. The building also has a pool, gym, laundry, mini market, and snack bar. The lighting in both the room and bathroom was awful. There was no light over the room’s table or above the bathroom mirror. I also had to contact them to get the access details, and they only sent them at the last minute.

It’s a modern, smart, fairly self-sustaining building with lots of studios, including units used for Airbnb and other stays. The location is great, right above Paraíso metro and beside Paulista, with easy access to all parts of SP.
