The reception girls were really nice and helpful, and the atmosphere is relaxed. This cute, cozy pousada is in a great spot, within walking distance of all the good things Jardins has to offer. The bed was comfortable, the blankets were nice, and everything worked well.
2/10
I was taken in by the polished photos, but the value for money was awful. This is a modest hostel charging hotel prices. I booked three rooms for my family and me, and all of them were cold, noisy, and had drain flies. My room had a steel blind instead of a proper window, and it was extremely loud all night. The bathroom was so cramped I could barely move or use the toilet comfortably. There was no real security, since virtually anyone could enter the building. They don't accept credit cards and require a bank deposit. There was no staff at night, and the bedding and towels were dirty. I wish I hadn't trusted the fancy-looking pictures.
