We spent six nights here and found it comfortable. The area felt relatively safe and was easy to explore on foot. The building is a little old, so some of the facilities haven't been updated. It's in one of the safest parts of Sao Paulo.

Review dated March 2024. The staff were kind and terrific, and the neighborhood was attractive, safe, and easy to walk around, with plenty of nice restaurants nearby. We liked having a spacious suite with a separate living area and a handy kitchenette, and we'd stay again. The hotel was in the middle of a major renovation, so it may live up to its name sometime soon. We stayed in the section that hadn't been renovated yet. The elevator, hallways, and rooms felt tired, though they were clean and usable.

The hotel was spotless, with hand sanitizer available everywhere, and I felt as safe there as I do at home. It's in an extremely convenient location, and the complimentary breakfast was excellent. The rooms are dated but very comfortable, and there are plenty of connecting rooms for larger families. I'd like the bath mats and towels to be sturdier.

The staff at the entrance and reception were brilliant, and four porters helped with our bags. Reception was very helpful at check-in and let us check out a little later. Our room was nice, with a separate living area and small kitchen, and the location was great. Breakfast was a good effort, though you had to ask for eggs and the buffet didn't explain that. The croissants weren't good.

Our room was more like a small apartment, with a kitchen, living room, and balcony. The hotel is lovely and well run, with interesting views and a beautiful brunch at its restaurant.
