There are lots of shared facilities here, including a pool, cinema, gym, coworking space, kids’ playroom, market, bike storage, and a terrace in tower 1. The elevators are the one issue. They’re often under maintenance, and most of the time only three of the four are working.
I haven’t moved into the building yet, but the location is really good. For what I paid for the development, I think it’ll be a very strategic place to live. We’re still having some problems with residential support, but hopefully those will get sorted out over time.
After years of disruption from construction work that ignored working hours and left sidewalks broken and hard to walk on, the builder seems to have finally repaired some of them. Plenty of damaged spots, holes, and uneven sections remain, though. This weekend they blocked the walkway again, leaving pedestrians to risk walking along the avenue among cars, with no signs or barriers, as usual. That kind of amateurism makes me wonder about the quality of the work.
The work on this building has been causing problems from the start. After it was finished, João dias became chaotic because cars and trucks have nowhere to stop to drop off passengers or unload construction materials. It’s a disgrace. And Benx customer service is a joke.
I ran out of ways to resolve this and decided to keep the wrong apartment rather than take the matter to court. I’m sharing what happened for anyone considering buying from Benx: I strongly advise against it. The headaches and the way customers are treated aren’t worth it. I bought an apartment in October 2022. The unit I was shown in Torre 1 had a view outside the condominium. I confirmed several times over WhatsApp that we were discussing the same apartment and asked the broker, Ludmila, how to fill out the paperwork. I signed the documents online and went ahead with the Caixa financing and down payment. At the inspection on 31/08, I found an apartment looking into the condominium, with no panoramic view. The broker had switched my tower. When I asked what had gone wrong, I learned that the tower had not been filled in when they sold it to me. Later, they entered unit 1608 in Torre 1, but put me in Torre 2 so they wouldn’t lose the sale. I emailed all the sales details, and they acknowledged there had been a sales error, but said they would do nothing because I had already signed with Caixa. I didn’t sign off on the inspection at first. Still, Karen, the relationship manager, was rude, and I was given no option except to accept it. They treated the problem as entirely mine. If you’re hoping to buy a home through this builder, be aware that you may be left on your own if something goes wrong, with no support and terrible service. Read similar complaints and check the builder’s rating. The way they handle customers and problems they caused is ridiculous. I bitterly regret buying here.
