For a hotel this big, the staff were disappointing. Check-in was really slow and inefficient.

They charged me 500 reals for one night, which felt like a scam. For that amount, you can find much better places in the city. The rooms are small, and the door cards need updating every few hours. The woman at reception was impatient when I didn’t speak Portuguese.

I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place. My room was dirty and noisy, with lots of mosquitos, and the neighborhood felt dangerous. I paid 370 reais for two nights, then needed an extra night because of a flight issue. In the morning they quoted 500, then suddenly changed it to 800 reais, so that extra night cost more than 300% of the original price. It felt dishonest. Drinks were very expensive, and I suspected there might be hidden cameras in the room.

Our rowing team comes here every year for national selection, bringing more than 150 guests over four days. The service has stayed the same so far, even though this is a budget option. For that amount of money, I’d like more service and more interaction with clients.

The water pressure was terrible, the TV didn’t work, and the air conditioning was extremely loud. The room was also tiny and uncomfortable. I wouldn’t recommend it.
