Xtay Vila Madalena

The rooms were a pleasant surprise: roomy and set up with a living area, kitchen, bedroom, and work table. I’ll definitely stay at Xtay again when I’m in SP. Xtay Vila Madalena was a great choice. The digital stay starts with a pre-check-in process, a bit like doing it for a flight, and the place itself was high quality and spotlessly clean. The building has a pool, gym, coworking space, laundry, and plenty more. There’s a Carrefour nearby, along with pharmacies, little bars, restaurants, and other places.

I had to work during the first two nights, and the fast internet helped. The room was cozy and very clean, as was the rest of the building. Its location made getting around São Paulo easier. Booking, check-in, and checkout were all online and simple to handle. I’d stay here again next time I’m in São Paulo.

We were locked outside on our final day, with two young children, after an already awful stay. We had rented three apartments. At the start, they left us waiting in the rain, and check-in and the service were terrible. We spent nearly 40 minutes going around before they let us into the paid parking, which barely fits a Uno, then waited another hour to get the car out. The pool water was green and mossy. We had a nightmare over New Year’s and couldn’t wait for it to end. If you care about your money, your patience, and your family, stay away. We’re already seeking justice for what we went through with this app.

There are plenty of self-service options, and the app is easy to use for check-in and checkout. It’s not a hotel, though it offers many hotel-like services. A good location and a new apartment with all the infrastructure made this a solid choice for either a short or long stay.
