Just okay.

We stayed for three days, my husband and I. The inn felt cozy, and everyone at reception was attentive, friendly, and helpful. Breakfast was really tasty, with lots of cakes, juice, and cold cuts, and the bed linens smelled lovely. By the pool, though, there were only plastic chairs. I missed having a lounge chair for sunbathing and ended up lying on the ground. There were no umbrellas over the tables either, which would have helped since there was no shade for anyone who wanted to sit by the pool without being in the sun. When the room was cleaned, they changed the sheets and towels, but didn't clean the floor.

The breakfast was excellent, with no complaints there. But the noise made the stay so difficult that I wouldn't come back. We were in room 2 and our friends were in room 24, and neither room got any sleep because people talked through the night and again early in the morning. We felt the hotel should have stepped in to keep things quiet. Signs or staff intervention would have been basic measures, especially since our room was across from the 24-hour reception. Instead, it felt like the hotel was letting the noise carry on. When we brought it up, we were told a group of 12 people was staying for a wedding. That didn't make the disruption fair to everyone else. If needed, the hotel could have been booked just for that group. There were also payment issues. I had booked two rooms for five people and a baby, but the guest numbers were assigned incorrectly. One booking showed four adults and the other one adult and a baby, when we actually had three adults and a baby in one room and two adults in the other. Even so, we paid for five adults. At check-in, I was charged for an extra person because my room was listed for one guest, without accounting for the fact that the other room had one fewer person. I explained that we were all part of the same group, and after we talked it through, I was told to expect a card refund. At checkout, they also tried to charge me for a bottle of water nobody in my group had had. The attendant kept insisting even after I questioned it. It was sorted out only after I pressed the issue, and the whole thing was uncomfortable. It would make sense to require a guest's signature for any item added to a room bill. There were some good points, especially breakfast, but the noise and lack of consideration for guests trying to rest put me off returning. I expected a peaceful stay, and it felt noisy and disorganized instead.
