Vinicius made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived, with a warm, friendly reception that really shaped the stay. Pousada Recanto Flor da Serra is charming, peaceful, and cozy. We had a wonderful time and will definitely return. Highly recommend!

We came as a group of 17, and everyone had good things to say about the inn and its service. The owner, Vinicius, was attentive and helpful. Rooms were large and clean, with fresh-smelling, clean bedding, and the whole place was spotless and cozy. Breakfast was abundant, varied, and fresh. We’ll certainly come back.

São José do Barreiro is tiny, with no gas station or emergency room, though there are a few small local shops for basic supplies. Claro reception usually doesn’t work unless you have Wi-Fi, while Vivo was fine. Bring basic and personal medications. It’s a peaceful place for nature and time to yourself, away from big-city bustle. I already knew the area and love it, and I’d happily return to Pousada Recanto Flor da Serra as soon as I can. I stayed there in August 2025 and had a great time. Vinícius has been in charge for about two years, I think. The inn is simple, cozy, and welcoming. Rooms have a double bed, bunk bed, bathroom, TV, and fan. The bed and bath linens were excellent. Bring your own towel for the waterfalls, since the inn’s towels are for use at the property. Breakfast was tasty and met my expectations, and Vinícius is a good storyteller. You’re great, Vinícius!
