Nor Hotel & Spa

The cocktails were really nice, and the restaurant food was good, though not spectacular. It’s a very nice hotel in a quiet spot surrounded by beautiful nature.

The chalet was lovely, with modern furnishings, good equipment, a huge comfortable bed, a nice bathroom, and thoughtful extras. We especially liked the fruit basket and sweets waiting there when we arrived. Breakfast was fantastic, with lots of fresh, carefully prepared food, and the restaurant had a varied menu with original, delicious dishes and impeccable service. There’s also plenty of privacy thanks to the space between the chalets. We stayed at NOR with my girlfriend this weekend, 30/1/26, and the experience exceeded our expectations from before we arrived through checkout. The whole team was attentive, efficient, and thoughtful about the details. They kept in touch about the reservation, offered sparkling wine as a welcome drink at reception, and gave us complimentary water when we left. Ellen and Carol took great care of everything we needed. I especially want to thank Thays for arranging the romantic decoration I requested. I sent photos of us, and when we arrived there were three photo frames in the living room and bedroom. It was an unforgettable surprise for my girlfriend. Ask for this amenity if you’re planning a romantic stay. Everything was done with a lot of care and quality. We’ll definitely be back!

The restaurant Rocco’s dishes were wonderful, though they weren’t included, and the staff were incredibly polite and friendly. I also loved the striking architecture and landscaping, which gave the place a different, almost futuristic feel. Still, I can’t give it five stars because we had an incident: four huge spiders showed up in our room. That same afternoon, we saw a kitten playing with a little rat outside. It was cute, but I’d have been terrified if it had been a bigger rat. We understand there’s a lot of greenery around, but the chalet could use better pest control and sealed doors and windows to keep these visitors out. I think people should know, since many are afraid of situations like this. And because the hotel describes itself as pet friendly, it was especially concerning that our little dog was lying just a few centimeters from one of the spiders.

The restaurant and breakfast were the best parts for us. Breakfast was impeccable, and we loved the hotel and its facilities. Unfortunately, there were a lot of maintenance problems, including the air conditioning, the whirlpool tub, the toilet seat, and ants in the bathroom, among other issues we reported to reception during our stay and at checkout. Since we were only there for two nights, repeatedly contacting staff and having maintenance workers come by took away from the experience.
