The fireplace, wine, soup, and long chats with friends made for such lovely memories in a warm, welcoming place. The staff were great too, especially Fábio, who was attentive, polite, and helpful from start to finish. Our room was tidy, clean, and comfortable, with lovely smelling towels and bed linen that made us feel well looked after. The shower was wonderful, hot, and perfect for relaxing. I had a fantastic stay and will definitely return! 🥰

The only thing that bothered me was a burned out bulb, which left the room a little dim at certain times. Otherwise, I had a really positive stay. The inn was peaceful, the room met all my needs, breakfast was tasty, and the reception was attentive. It’s also very close to Vinícola do Goes.

I came for five nights the week before Carnival and ended up staying ten. Isabel and especially Fábio made us feel so welcome that it was hard to leave. The food, service, rooms, and attention to guests were all a 10. The breakfast was very good, and the heated pool and hot tub were great in rain or shine. Garden house was a unique experience. The reception staff were also excellent, as was Alexandre, Fábio’s brother, the head honcho. Every cent was worth it. Best wishes to the whole Garden House team ❤️

This is a peaceful place to get away from the daily rush of a big city. My Standard room was clean, with a comfortable bed and soft sheets, though I wish it had a small table and chair. Alexandre, Isabel, Fábio, and the rest of the team were polite, helpful, and attentive. Breakfast was generous too. A few local things were pricey: drinks along Estrada do Vinho, and the guided winery tour. Still, I really enjoyed visiting the gardens at Vinícola Goes. I went into the city center on a Saturday and everything was already closed by 2 pm. I’d definitely recommend the inn.
