Bintang Bangalos has a lovely setting and it's easy enough to get to, but the chalets need a lot of upkeep, especially when it comes to cleaning. The mattresses were awful, like lying right on the bed frame. There were very few kitchen utensils, and everything was dirty, particularly under the sink. Staying here felt a lot like camping. The chalet also looked quite different from the photos.

The best part for me was how kind Junior was. He was helpful, flexible, and available throughout our stay. The place itself is beautiful, peaceful, and right in nature. The rooms are basic, but had what we needed for a great weekend. We made breakfast and dinner, and even had a barbecue one night. I'd definitely recommend it!

The owner is really nice, the price is fair, and every day we stayed felt worthwhile. The setting is beautiful, with a very clean, clear little river at the back. There's a waterfall nearby and several beaches around the area. Just remember to bring insect repellent, haha. We really recommend the place and will come back.

The lush surroundings and lovely little river made this such a wonderful place to stay. Our bungalow was comfortable and had great facilities, and the owner of the property was very attentive. My family and I fell in love with it, and we'll be back soon.
