Fernanda, her family, Pedro, and the rest of the staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Vegetarian choices are limited, though you can find some if you get creative. As a tourist from outside Brazil, you'll need a car to get around beyond this resort-style hotel.

The beach is incredible, like something out of heaven, and the hotel has a spot on the sand with shade where you can order drinks and appetizers. The deep-fried shrimp there was fresh and the best I've ever had at a beach. I couldn't get enough. The hotel's up on the mountain overlooking the beach, surrounded by Mata Atlântica (Atlantic Woods), with breathtaking views. São Paulo's highway is scenic too, winding through mountains and small villages. The place itself is gorgeous, with a great pool, a cozy hot tub, and a delicious restaurant. Try the “Bobó de Camarão” (shrimp in manioc cream). Breakfast was good but simple, and the tapiocas made to order were really tasty. Rooms are rustic and no-frills, as expected, but everything worked properly and the bed was comfortable. The balcony hot tub overlooking the beach was the room's highlight. Everyone treated us like royalty, with warm, friendly, attentive service. The hotel is a gem. I'd absolutely stay again, it's a great place to enjoy the good life on São Paulo's north shore.

The late-night staff were amazing and very helpful, and everyone was accommodating. The resort has everything you need and offers great value. The views are the best, and it's a beautiful place for a honeymoon with your wife. I highly recommend it and can't wait to return.

The hotel is beautiful, and the view is incredible. They were gracious enough to host us for lunch. Friends who visited for their honeymoon still love talking about this place. I hope to come back soon as a guest.
