Most of the staff treated me well, but I wouldn't recommend this place because of one receptionist. We had a misunderstanding during our stay, and that particular employee, whose name I don't know, was tall and dark-haired. He sounded polite on the surface, but used an ironic tone and unnecessary digs. Saying things like, “I know you'll understand, you're intelligent,” made it seem as though disagreeing with him would mean I was being irrational. That kind of approach made me uncomfortable and didn't feel genuinely welcoming. The other employees were good to me.

The rooms at Pousada HB Point were clean, tidy, and comfortable, and the women serving breakfast were especially kind, polite, and helpful. They deserve praise for their attentiveness. The check-out, though, was awful: the receptionist was rude and showed no courtesy, leaving us with a bad final impression. I hope the inn brings reception service up to the same standard as the rooms and breakfast team, because the facilities and breakfast staff are excellent.
