My friend and I had a terrible experience before we even arrived. On Friday morning, 21/11, we booked one night by phone with Mr. Luís Albano, for the stay from 22 to 24/11. Less than an hour later, we asked him on WhatsApp to cancel, using the same method as for the booking and payment: I had paid the full amount upfront by Pix. He didn’t reply to my message. He hadn’t sent either my friend or me the room details for the reservation, either. A few hours later, I called to ask about the refund, and he said he would only return the Pix on Monday, 24/11. When I asked why, he said he wanted to wait until after the weekend to make sure it wasn’t a scam. A scam? I was the one who sent him the Pix, and he was supposed to refund me directly, not send it to someone else. So where would the “scam” be? Unless he’s trying to scam us. That kind of behavior seems dishonest and in bad faith. I’ll file complaints with PROCON, Reclame Aqui, and elsewhere. He wasn’t ethical or honest, and who knows if he’ll return my money at all. If he doesn’t, I’ll take further action under the law.

We loved how quiet this part of the beach was, away from the crowds, though it is a little far from the center. The house has an incredible view and all the amenities and services you might need, and the hosts are so friendly. There are lots of stairs, so it may not work well for children.

A thousand out of ten! Alberto and Vilma welcomed us so warmly that we felt right at home. It was cold and rainy, and having the fireplace made such a difference. Everything was just right, and we’ll keep coming back.

The view was wonderful, and it’s a lovely, safe place to unwind. The rooms were cozy, the food was light and tasty, and the service was excellent. A perfect stay, with a welcoming, family feel.

It feels less like an ordinary inn and more like staying at friends’ home. The place is cozy, and you really feel welcome. I hope I can come back soon.
