The bed was good, the linens were high quality, the air conditioning worked really well, and the Wi-Fi was fine. The staff were very friendly. The TV only has four channels, though, and a few small things could be improved, like adding a soap holder in the shower and a hair dryer. There was a bar of soap in our room, but the wrapper left on the sink wasn’t taken away by housekeeping. The towel mat was dirty and stayed that way too. At breakfast, we had to ask for food to be replenished because no one seemed to be watching for that. The inn is nearly 350 m from the beach, not 200 m as we were told.

We booked for Carnival, paid 50% upfront, and travelled for hours with children. When we arrived to check in, the reception was in chaos. Guests were being told to go back home because there was no water and no estimate for when it would return, so they couldn’t accommodate us. The receptionist said the owner had instructed her to say that and that there was nothing she could do. She asked for our bank details and said they would refund us. Three weeks later, we still hadn’t heard anything. We call the inn every day, and the only answer is that they can’t get in touch with the owners. Spare us this. Never book this inn, they’re dishonest.

We couldn’t even stay there. We paid for the inn, but when we arrived they said there was no water and gave us two options: a refund or going another day. We chose the refund, which they never made, and they never contacted us at any point.
